Dr. Misty Hobbs is a board-certified dermatologist. She completed her undergraduate education at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She obtained her medical doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky, where she graduated at the top of her class.

During her time in medical school, she received multiple academic scholarships and awards, including the American Medical Women’s Association award, recognitions for outstanding community service, and induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She went on to complete her residency training in dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where she served as Chief Resident.

In addition to her scholarly activities including multiple conference presentations and publications, she was recognized as being in the 99th percentile in patient satisfaction amongst dermatology providers across all Mayo Clinic enterprise sites.

Dr. Hobbs practices general and surgical dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and being outdoors.
