Dr. Stephanie Ortman was thrilled to return to Jacksonville in October 2018. Originally from Washington State, Dr. Ortman obtained her undergraduate education from the University of Washington in Seattle, graduating magna cum laude. She received her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Ortman completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville where she served as chief resident in her final year. After residency, she moved to Kentucky and practiced dermatology at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington for two years before returning to Florida.
Dr. Ortman is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her expertise is in medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in skin cancer, psoriasis and eczema.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and exploring the many outdoor opportunities Florida offers.
