Christopher Ewanowski, M.D., is one of the few fellowship-trained, board-certified dermatologic surgeons in the Bay Area who specialize in laser surgery, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and reconstructive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. Dr. Ewanowski is a native of Tampa and received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida.
After receiving his degree in medicine from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine in 2003, Dr. Ewanowski proceeded to complete an internship in plastic and general surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.
He turned his focus on the advanced management of skin conditions, including laser surgery, skin surgery, and reconstructive surgery as a dermatology resident at Georgetown University Hospital.
In 2007, he completed his training at Georgetown and chose to pursue a dermatologic surgery fellowship in the fields of skin oncology and Mohs, reconstructive surgery, and laser. During this time, he was one of only 65 dermatologists globally with this advanced fellowship, which is American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery approved.
During this time, he worked with Pearon Lang M.D. and Joel Cook M.D., two of the most eminent Mohs surgeons in the US. In 2008, backed with this rigorous training and vast experience, Dr. Ewanowski established Suncoast Skin Solutions. He is a specialist in the management of facial skin cancer, laser surgery, and cutting-edge medical spa techniques undertaken using local anesthesia.
